"Blast from the Past" by Tom Scott

Stop frame animation is a medium that fascinates me. It's a medium that brings to life a series of still images, and creates a fluid film sequence. The skill, technique and sheer patience that goes into each animation is commendable in itself. With huge technological advances in animation, it's refreshing to see a final product that uses such a time consuming method to produce quality film.

"Blast from the Past" by Tome Scott is a prime example of such animation; a race between James Bond, The Italian Job mini's, Herbie The Love Bug and Seve Mcqueen from Bullitt using toy cars and stop frame animation.
